Wir gratulieren unserem früheren Doktorstudenten Hodabalo Pereki (University de Lomé, Togo, West Africa) zu seinem Doktortitel.

Am Freitag, den 12. Februar verteidigte er seine herausragende Dissertation “Estimation of Tropical Forest’s Above Ground Biomass: Application of Remote Sensing and Ecological Modeling in Abdoulaye Wildlife Reserve (Togo, West Africa)”.

We are happy to announce that our former PhD student Hodabalo Pereki (University de Lomé, Togo, West Africa) finalized his PhD.

On Friday the 12th of February, he defended his outstanding doctoral dissertation “Estimation of Tropical Forest’s Above Ground Biomass: Application of Remote Sensing and Ecological Modeling in Abdoulaye Wildlife Reserve (Togo, West Africa)”.

The MARS team congratulates him for this well earned title.

MARS on 28th AKWI Conference

MARS was showcased on the 28th annual AKWI conference taking place in Luzern, Switzerland, from September 6-9. This work group presents and discusses current issues regarding business informatics degree courses at German-speaking universities.

Under the topic “Business Process Simulation with HAWAI & MARS”, a presentation about the MARS platform and its sister project HAWAI (HAW Laboratory for Application Integration) was hold on Monday. An example model was presented that showcases the agent-based simulation approach and its possible advantages for dynamic and continuous enterprise architecture analysis.

A conference dinner and a boat trip completed the day.

MARS Release 1.0 Announced

A closed-beta version of MARS is almost ready for use! Our first official release is targeted to be released on the 23rd of September.

With the framework still being in alpha status, many planned long-term features are still missing or rudimentary. However, project creation, data upload, code-based model development and distributed simulation execution should be operational and your results are available as a download file in CSV format.
